Right after having my timing belt changed in my 2001 Hyundai Elantra, the check engine light came on. A diagnostic says that it is the Oxygen sensor 2 in bank 1.
It seems wierd to me that this code would come on right after the timing belt was changed. I suspect that my mechanic likely did something wrong that made that code flip. Is it possible that he got the timing off just a little bit that brings less oxygen in? Could he have disconnected the sensor when changing the belt? Or could it just be a coincidence that the sensor went bad when my mechanic changed the timing belt?
My mechanic says he did nothing wrong and wants to charge me to change the oxygen sensor. What do you think the problem is with the car? What should I do?

My 2003 Dodge ram 1500 5.7L(hemi) Quad Cab is still stalling after just spending 1600$ in the shop. They put 2 new fuel injectors, replaced the a/c, gave it a tune up, a transmission flush, and other small things. Im thinking fuel pump? Itll randomly stall so far its happened in park and drive. WHEN IT STALLS YOU HAVE NO IDEA IT HAPPENED OTHER THAN NOTICING THE DECELERATION(RADIO STAYS ON, A/C STAYS ON, LIGHTS STAY ON, DASH IS STILL LIT UP, THE TRUCK JUST DIES)When in drive itll stall randomly with no real set speed(itll happen whether going 70 or 30). The idiots at the shop cant figure it out….please help.To be more specific about whats happening ill take you through a situation thats happend to me…Im going 80 mph when i SLOWLY come down to about 30 and it stalls while rolling, i put it in neutral while rolling(its an automatic transmission), turn it on,and put it in drive and go. The car is ALWAYS able to start up right after stalling.
Ive got a list together of what could be doing this:
Bad or dirty Idle air control valve
Bad throttle position sensor
Dirty throttle body
Clogged or dirty PCV valve
Fuel Pump
Bad temperature sensor
Thats not the only problem…. when its in park the truck will randomly rev itself as if trying to stay alive. Last time it was just slowly revving itself from 700 to 1100 RPMS. It wasnt a rough rev just slowly back and forth,up and down through 700-1100. Sometimes the truck will start shaking when it goes below 500 and just die.PLEASE HELP!!

I have a 2000 Silverado w/ Z71 package. I checked into suspension lift kits, today and they are more than I want to spend. So Im leaning towards just slapping a huge set of 24 in rims on my truck, and peeling off the Z71 stickers. Would that look ok ? It has the Z71 suspension,so the truck sits like an inch or two higher than the normal Silverado. My truck is the two-toned black on top, silver on the bottom under the plastic molding on the sides.I have chrome door handles, billet grille, bug guard, vent visors, tail gate latch, bed rails, nerf steps….so the 2nd part of my question is this : Would chrome rims be too much chrome ? Or should I get black rims with just the chrome lip ? Thank you for any advice you can offer.

okay, so tonight i was parked in my spot pretty much, but right on the line on my left side because the car on my right was over the line as well and i had plenty of room. while i was inside of the restaurant, this big truck parked way too close to me, pushing my mirror up to the side of his truck, when he moved it… my mirror snapped off and is now just hanging there. he says its my fault because he was inside the lines but i can’t help but believe it is all his fault for parking after me, no matter how i was parked. please someone help. i did get all of his information and such and will take it to his insurance, but i want to be sure he is at fault for it, and not me for parking on the line.

I recently inherited a 1994 Ford Ranger, extended cab with a topper affixed to the bed.http://www.canopiesunlimited.com/Full%20…
This is basically it, though the topper in this picture even has better/newer windows than mine.
The topper makes for very poor visibility, and I am a rather new driver as it is so I feel doubly challenged when it comes backing up and whatnot, and I especially am nervous when trying to change into the right lane in traffic.
I cannot figure out for the life of me how to configure the right side mirror to best see my blind spot. It seems like all of the advice my friends and family have given me hasn’t been very helpful, because cars are still always coming out of nowhere in traffic and backing up out of my parking spot is terrifying.
Any tips on how to configure the right side mirror from experienced truck drivers out there?
