Can You Repair The Wires On A 1989 Audi 80 Distributor?

8 Jan 2010my husband changed the distributor cap, and rotor and now no spark. I called the tec and he said he had to of broken the wires on the distributor or timing belt broke. Can the wires be fixed without buying a new distributor?

Audi Water Pump, Timining Belt Repair Cost?

8 Jan 2010The water pump in my 1999 Audi A6 gave out. The repair shop is saying that they are giving me a deal to fix the water pump, all hoses, all belts (including timing belt), Cam gasket for $1500. Is this reasonable? I live in metro NY.
