I have found Silla, “R”eplacement, Koyo, and many others…… but what is the best for heat dispersion? I am unaware of any known high-quality brands. Besides price… there are no other comparisons I can find.

So I changed my coolant, waterpump, timing belt etc., and now its time to bleed the system. I’v tried over and over to bleed the system, by running the car at 3k, and opening the bleeder hole at the heater core. I got it to give me heat when i drive, but when I idle [...]

i have a 2000 jeep cherokee and had brown fluid leaking inside the vehicle under the dash. They changed out the heater core but did not flush the system or even reccomend it. Three months later, the radiator and pump had to be replaced because they got clogged up. The newer repar [...]

About every three months or so it has fallen off it’s axle and slammed into the radiator and every time, the radiator breaks. It has cost me $2,200 since september and that’s almost a quarter of what I payed for the car in the first place. It’s a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo [...]

I have replaced the radiator, engine and fuel pump in my 2001 jeep with 2 years. I purchased the trk with 3 miles and replaced the engine at 183698 miles. The problem is the engine cooling fan has stopped running on its own. My neighbor has ran a dummy wire from the fan to the positive [...]

I’m about to replace the radiator in my wife’s 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport. I need to know the proper procedure for bleeding the cooling system.
Thank You,

I recently started driving an 89 Jeep Cherokee which had previously sat without being driven for a couple years. My radiator overflow bottle was cracked so i replaced it. Then several weeks later one of the cooling system hoses blew. The hose had been beaten up where it blew but was unseen previously. Now several [...]

termostat is located on the back side of the motor…the botom radiator hose will lead you to it…it should be right on top of the starter….you would have to unbolt the termostat casing to get to it….

Have you checked the rest of the cooling system? I have bought several thermostats that were junk right out of the box. Is the rad big enough to deal with the increase in horse power? You might consider increasing the number of cores in the rad. Have you changed the size of the water pump [...]

I have wrote a few questions about my engine running a little hot – since, I have cleaned out the heat exchanger, and replaced the impellor on the water pump, cleaned the water grate or filter between the pick up and pump – but it still seems to be running at about 185 [...]

I have a ‘97 Ford Contour GL (2.0L 4-Cyl) that’s been having problems with overheating. I changed the thermostat, drained and backflushed both the radiator and heater core (no signs of any blockage) and after hooking everything back up, it actually overheats even faster than before. Reservoir is filled to the max and [...]
