FIRST DECENT ANSWER GETS BEST ANSWER!!!!!!!!!

its the front passenger wheel bearing.

The thermostat on that is under the radiator cap which is on the engine. Pull the cap off and the thermostat is right there, pull it out and put another one in, top off coolant and bleed the system.

Under the small bell housing where the upper radiator hose connects to the top of the engine. Make sure you install the new thermostat the same way the old one was installed, since they sometimes can be installed backwards.

Short of doing a lot of rewiring, you can add a toggle switch, but you are still talking about a lot of wiring.

The Toyota dealer wants $120.00 to change the cigarette lighter unit which is bad and blows fuses. A new external plug in lighter still blows fuses. I don’t have that kind of money for a lighter socket!! I’d like to buy a unit at an Auto store..but don’t know how to access the unit in [...]

I changed my cousins oil on his 2003 gmc sierra 1500 4.3L. i put in 5w30 mobil 1 synthetic oil and an AC Delco oil filter. the next day he called and said his change oil light is on but it doesnt stay on constantly like i thought most gm vehicles do he says it [...]

Ive changed the oil and the filter but the light stays on. I have my car in the Balkans and the mechanic cannot turn the light off. Do I have any way of shutting this light off myself?

its a short bed extented cab, 4 wheel drive 1500

Maybe about 10 pints.

So…i took and oil wrench and it broke in half along with the can being crished and ripped off the block. Now all i have left is the base of the old oil filter and i have no clue how to get it off now. All that is left of the old oil filter is [...]

Some kind of sensor is attached to it and I am not sure how to take it off and remove the fuel filter. The filter itself is bigger than a oil filter.
GMC 3500 with the 6.6 Turbo Diesel

fitted and is the filter easy to get-to and to remove ect?And does the oil drain out of the filter with the engine oil too?

How often should we change the oil filter on a 2001 GMC Jimmy? I don’t believe you change the filter EVERY time you change the oil, and we’re using Castrol Syntec …the really expensive good synthetic stuff.
Thanks!

you have to remove the dash the the heater box and disassemble it to get to the heater core, its takes me about 5-6 hours to do one, usually for a beginner its about a 7-8 hour job by the time you get it all put back together and working again, it helps if you have good [...]
