I recently took my car in for a new clutch. (First clutch job ever at 116K!). Since then, the check engine light has been continually on. I took my car back to the shop and they said it needs a new oxygen sensor (Bank I, Sensor II).

The exhaust oxygen sensor needs to be replaced. Anyone have an estimate of the cost? The OEM sensor costs $260.00 but i can buy one that fits for $65.00 and have someone else do it right? Will shops do that or do they want OEM parts?

1998 Honda Accord 4 cylinder 2.3liter. I pulled the upstream oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold. I compared it to the one i bought from the auto parts store and it doesnt look the same. It fits in the manifold but just doesnt look the same. The sensor i pulled looks more like the o2 ...
