I start the bolts for the lower tubes, then start the upper plenum bolts, before torquing then down. I do the drivers side first, seems to me to be easier!! Good luck!! They are not any fun!! Dont forget to install the distributor before you put the upper plenium on.The best thing to do is to get a manual that covers that year.Be sure to use new bolts or clean the threads of the intake monifold bolts and use some liquid teflon to lube the threads before installing them. good luck on the lower plenium bolts, pleae install the inner first then the others loosely, then tighten hard in the order stated.
