Usually the engine light comes up when the engine management system alerts it, I’m not sure about the fan though. it means there is something wrong within your engin, try checking all your water, oil etc.levels first cuz it could be something as simple as that. If they are ok then i’m affraid you might have take it to a ford main dealers as a lot of garages aren’t equipped or authorised to deal with zetec engines

There is a problem with the cooling system on the car, check the level and that its making pressure.

Only one sure way of finding out a computer check will tell you immediately
