Do You Have To Upgrade Your Mazda Rx 8 Starter?

19 Feb 2010I commonly see concerns over weak starters in early model RX8’s and wasn’t sure if I should just replace mine as a preventative step. Do all early model RX8’s eventually need an upgraded starter? My current one cranks a little slower then I’m used to, but is that okay to deal with?

My woes continue with this van. After a new radiator and all been pressure tested, today it is obvious that there is oil getting into the water and coolant, does this mean a new cylinder head gasket is required??
