I want a lot of horsepower. But can I fit a v8 engine in a jeep Cherokee ( which is currently a inline6) and what engine should I buy

I’m wanting to buy a Jeep sometime soon, and I am looking for a V6 4X4, 5 speed manual. I would like to know what year Jeep to look for with a strong reliable engine for 4 wheeling and as a daily driver…

i have a 89 jeep wagonner limited with the inline six 4.0 For the engine coolant drain plug how do you remove it? Is it a pipe plug and not a regular bolt? It looks like a pipe plug. What size is the plug so i can get the socket to remove it. thanks

I have a 2005 jeep wrangler and I know that when you initially turn the key one click to start the jeep the instrument panel runs through the cycle with all the gauges. However when they all go off (and you have not turned the key all the way to engage the starter) the engine [...]

It looks like they might be from the heads, it appears that the engine was in a severe crash, oil pan ,oil pick up tube, & motor mount are bent, has anyone seen this problem?

I have read & heard of much praise regarding the inline 6 AMC Jeep engine that was discontinued in Jeep’s back in 2006 for quite some time now.
I own a Jeep with the 4.0/inline 6 motor set-up & I feel that it’s a better set-up than a V6 or V8 configuration. What are your thoughts?

just sold a 2001 jeep grand cherokee and kept the after market wheels what other rides, suv or car will they fit

We had 75 mph winds and heavy rain that blew the tarp off of my daughter’s Power Wheels Jeep. The battery wasn’t in it. Is it possible it might still work? The hood stayed on. I want to know if I should bother buying a new battery for it or not to try it.

I use the cigarette lighter socket for my cell phone charger, and it has suddenly quit working. Any ideas what might be going on with it? Any and all ideas appreciated!!

or does anyone know how to locate. I checked all fuses under driver side and all are good. Any idea where fuse is located. thanks.

When I checked the fuse box it didn’t seem like anything was wrong. They don’t come on at all. I’m 16 so it needs to be something cheap and easy to fix for me and I don’t know alot about cars. Thanx in advance.

generally it’s the same fuse as the radio.

I need to charge my cell phone when i’m not using my jeep wrangler.

Like the other person said you could wire the lighter to power source that is switched with the ignition. But that may cause other problems like blowing a fuse or damaging the other item, say you run it to the wipers.
If the power locks are on the same line, than your door locks would [...]

You can get the manual from the Jeep website or a Jeep dealership. The fuse lighter is located near the stereo. .

It isnt accessible from under the dash like i thought it would be.

I need to change it but i dont know which one it is…please help

How can I check it and possibly fix it myself before I have to bring it to a mechanic?? Any help possible would be great! Thanks & Happy holidays

I’ve Checked all the fuses behind the glove box, they all are good. I heard there’s something i should check under the dash on the drivers side but when i looked under there, nothing really jumped out at me. Is there another fuse under the drivers side of the dash or is there [...]

It depends on the year….Newer Jeeps 12v lighter only runs while the key is on or in the half forward position.
