I own a Jeep with the 4.0/inline 6 motor set-up & I feel that it’s a better set-up than a V6 or V8 configuration. What are your thoughts?

We had 75 mph winds and heavy rain that blew the tarp off of my daughter’s Power Wheels Jeep. The battery wasn’t in it. Is it possible it might still work? The hood stayed on. I want to know if I should bother buying a new battery for it or not to try it.
I use the cigarette lighter socket for my cell phone charger, and it has suddenly quit working. Any ideas what might be going on with it? Any and all ideas appreciated!!
