22 Feb 2010Is there an easy way to find out which one it may be? I know the pump is in the gas tank. I opened the trunk and had someone try to start it up. You could smell gas, does that mean the pump is pumping?
I have lifted the rear seat and all I could see was the fuel pump I even took that out and didn’t see the filter.

22 Feb 2010Inside the fuel tank. You have to drop the tank to remove it and be very careful not to break any plastic lines if you do it yourself.
The van is a 1997 registered. The engine bay wiring was damaged after a welding Job. The wiring has been repaired but the van won’t start, The fuel pump is mechanical with an electronic module on the side. There is fuel up to the pump but nothing out.
Any ideas out there ?

In need of installation instructions for a 2000 hyundai sonata. None of the automotive part stores here have the repair manual for my car and the closest hyundai dealership is five hours away. The price of the repair manual there is $100!! Anyone happen to know the correct installation???
