I’m trying to make a simulator using a resistor, and it works fine for the front sensor, but the rears behind where the cat used to be wasn’t tested for voltage first. This is the one that heats up, heater o2 sensor or post-cat sensor. If anyone knows the voltage please reply. Thanks!

Hi. I asked this question earlier, but I did not provide the code. The code was P0138 and it says bank one sensor 2.
Is this the sensor on the driver side or passenger side? Also is it the one on the top or on the bottom of the engine?
Also if you can tell me what [...]

If it is a diesel then it has a separate vaccum pump. A vaccum hose might have come off

your looking at about 150-200 with pump and labor

line leaks only when car runs

Is there an O-ring were the hose connects to the pump that could be replaceable?

You can get to the bolts through holes in pulley, and if lucky you can drop it out from under car after disconnecting hoses. You will first have to back the belt off. It will be a little tricky.

can be hard to reach on some you have to press off the pulley thats on the pump just to get to the bolts. you will need a pulley puller for this you can rent one at a parts store. labor guide calls for 3.1 hrs so if you have never done one count on [...]

The mechanic says there are no after-market pumps. From the dealer it will be $340. Does this sound right?

I have a 1989 dodge dakota 2 wheel drive pickup with the 3.9 V6. throttle body injected. I’ve already removed the smog pump, a/c compressor, and about to remove the power steering pump. after removing the smog pump, and a/c compressor, i noticed a dramatic increase in engine power, as i expected. better fuel economy [...]

the first time mechanic can do the job in about six hours — that’s if you get all the parts before you start the job —– and drain into a bucket — strain the anti-freeze if it looks green and re-use —– or find out where to dispose becuz it is poisonous to small animals………….

you have to pull the heater box out to get to that one,and that’s a big job in one of those, first off you need to get a good repair manual on it because they got a few tips in them that makes the job a little easier to do,the last one i did took me [...]

Behind the dash inside the HVAC box. Gotta pull dash out of the truck to get to it. 6-7 hours to complete the job . No job for the novice do-it-yourselfer.

i know i got to take down the dash but i was wondering why u got to release the refrigerant and how to do so. also if someone who has done it can tell me how long it took em that would be awsome. thnx in advance

please help me locate the heater core on my dodge ram pickup
6 cyl. without airconditioner.

Yes you will have to remove the dash to replace that heater core. you will also have to recharge the ac. good luck with the repairs

you have to remove the dash the the heater box and disassemble it to get to the heater core, its takes me about 5-6 hours to do one, usually for a beginner its about a 7-8 hour job by the time you get it all put back together and working again, it helps if you have good [...]
